How to get rid of pet urine and dead spots in your yard

::drumroll::

Beer! - it can be hot or cold, fresh or flat. Use a regular beer.
Not light beer, malt liquor or a wine cooler.

Beer has lots of fermented sugars and nutrients. A dead patch will absorb the sugars and nutrients thus helping the soil below. The beer acts as a fertilizer and provides nutrients to new grass growth. The beer will strengthen the grass and neutralize the nitrogen in pet urine. Beer eliminates fungi, as well.

My dog ran away during the fireworks

http://www.mdspca.org/programs/lost-found

If your dog ran away after the fireworks started on 4th of July, you should check the local animal shelter. Dogs have a waiting period and then, they are put up for adoption.

Close the windows, shut the blinds separate your pet from the noise as much as you can. Some animals find comfort in the bathtub or a crate.

Rub essential oils in your hands and massage your pet's belly

Wrap your pet in a calming blanket. Feeling the constant pressure is a calming technique.

On the afternoon of New Year's Eve and July 4th take your pet outside to get plenty of exercise.
